Etoile Sabbiato Champagne is a collection of cutlery in 18/10 stainless steel with a sandblasted finish and a new and delicate champagne-coloured PVD nuance.
The sandblasted finish, characterized by low roughness, is obtained with the micro-shot peening technique: a cold surface treatment of the steel with pressure-cast ceramic microspheres. The object thus acquires a particular aesthetic impact because the reflected light is diffused by the surface.
PVD stands for Physical Vapor Deposition. It is a technology used for coloring steel through the deposition of very thin metal films. The process takes place inside vacuum chambers and consists of the evaporation and subsequent condensation of the metals on the cutlery. This treatment, with a range of wonderful color nuances, in addition to embellishing the cutlery, makes it more resistant to wear and scratches and is a perfectly sustainable coating suitable for use in the food sector.
Etoile Sabbiato Champagne is a collection of cutlery with a pleasant and velvety matt effect which, in addition to making the cutlery elegant with a precious play of light, allows for a good grip. Its main feature is given by the knife-edged support which gives the table a touch of absolute originality. The roundness of the spoon and the sinuosity of the fork give the series further personality and contrast with the wide and flat base of the handles.
