Zeus Ice is a collection of forged cutlery in 18/10 stainless steel with a sandblasted finish.
The sandblasted finish, characterized by low roughness, is obtained with the micro-shot peening technique: a cold surface treatment of the steel with pressure-cast ceramic microspheres. The object thus acquires a particular aesthetic impact because the reflected light is diffused by the surface.
Zeus Ice is a forged cutlery whose hammered handle evokes the ancient ritual of manual workmanship of the blacksmiths who, in their forges, shaped the incandescent brand with hammer blows until they obtained, with their mastery, unique artefacts. The wavy and irregular surfaces of the handle recall the incessant beating of hammers. As well as the knife blades with a discontinuous profile and unmistakable silhouette. Square design and functional attention distinguish this collection of sandblasted cutlery inspired by modern urban spaces.
