Mirror polishing of cutlery is a surface processing process through which, with the use of special rollers and very fine-grained abrasive pastes, the required shine is obtained.
The sandblasted finish, characterized by low roughness, is obtained with the micro-shot peening technique: a cold surface treatment of the steel with pressure-cast ceramic microspheres. The object thus acquires a particular aesthetic impact because the reflected light is diffused by the surface.
Celtika Sabbiato is a refined collection of mirror-polished cutlery but with a matt finish, obtained with a micro-peening treatment, on the handle which, in addition to making the cutlery elegant with a beautiful play of light, allows for a good grip.
